The flowing, sensual lines and vibrant, abstract colors make this canyon a sensational place to shoot. As the morning light bounced off the side of the canyon, I took a series of exposures looking straight up into the opening, right on the edge of the skyline. The red light of the canyon cast a glow that only the camera could pick up. It was like another world in the shot. The canyon looked like it had been carved out by a master craftsman. It actually was! Mother Nature herself! Summer storms flood the canyon and pebbles caught in eddies eroded the stone to reveal this masterpiece. It’s a hidden world, deep inside the canyon; a very special feeling, surrounded by the awe, beauty, and power of Mother Nature. You can feel it!
