This is a vintage 1950s handbag made in green suede leather in a satchel form. The interior is lined in blue grosgrain (faille) fabric and has an open compartment with a zippered pocket built into the front of the side pocket. It has a front flap that closes with a snap closure. The top and front edges have curved metal bars covered by draped suede leather. The purse measures about 13 wide at its bottom by 9 in height, exclusive of the handle, which has with a fall of 8. The bag is in very good condition with no pronounced wear or signs of use. There is no maker's label.
